Big Buddha Phuket

Get yourself a bike and take a scenic ride up to the Big Buddha in Phuket. The steep winding roads make the trip enjoyable and the view once you get there is worthwhile. I went in the off season so it wasn’t busy at all and I spent about an hour walking around. Make sure you cover up your legs and shoulders when you go but if you forget to there is also a place to buy shawls outside. They have 7 minute happiness meditations for anyone who is interested or you can just walk around freely. This is something that you don’t need to book a tour for, you can easily get there on you own and spend as much time as you like.
