Phuket Museum

Most people know Phuket for its beaches, but a visit to Phuket should not be without a trip to Old Town. The Phuket Museum (totally free!) introduces some of Phuket’s Peranakan heritage and history as a tin mining town. The museum is housed in two separate buildings, which use to serve as a bank, and there’s an old clock tower to climb, too. This was definitely worth stopping by to learn some local history and culture. #thailand #phuket #oldphukettown #peranakan
