#springitinerary Wat Somdet Phu Ruea is one of those places that totally surprises you. It’s tucked up in the hills of Loei and gives off serious peaceful energy. The main temple is stunning, all golden and shiny, with super detailed architecture that looks amazing in the sunlight. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the view. You’re literally surrounded by mountains, and on a clear day, you can see forever. It’s super chill, not crowded, and just has this calm, almost magical vibe. Great spot if you’re into taking photos, meditating, or just vibing in nature. The whole area is clean and really well taken care of, and the people are friendly but not pushy. It’s not flashy like some touristy temples, but that’s what makes it feel so special. Definitely worth the trip. Bring sunglasses, snacks, and prepare to feel totally zen.
