Khum Chao Luang, Phrae Province

Khum Chao Luang, Phrae Province, was built in 1892 by Chao Piriya Thep Wong. It is an architecture from the reign of King Rama V. It has a Thai-European architectural style. The building is made of brick and mortar. It has 2 floors. There are no piles, but logs, mostly heartwood, red wood, and hardwood, are used to support the entire pillar base. It is currently used as a museum for people to study and learn about the princes of Phrae Province and various items. The basement of this building is also used as a prison for incarceration. #VisitPhrae
