Phra That Cho Hae, the sacred chedi for people born in the Year of the Tiger

The belief in the sacred relics of the year of birth in Lanna states that Phra That Cho Hae in Phrae Province is the sacred relic of the year of the Tiger. According to legend, it was built during the reign of King Maha Thammarachathirat (Lithai) by Khun Lua Ai Kom. It is believed that Phra That Cho Hae is a pagoda enshrining the hair relics and the left elbow relics of the Lord Buddha.
