The only royal temple in Ayutthaya

Wat Phra Si Sanphet is the only royal temple in Ayutthaya that used to be the Grand Palace. Therefore, there is still one Phra Thinang Chom Thong left in the temple grounds. How to get there: By private car From Bangkok, drive along Asia Road (Highway No. 32) and turn left into Ayutthaya. Continue driving past the roundabout, cross the Pridi Banomyong Bridge, go straight until you reach Si Sanphet Road, turn right, and drive past the roundabout for a while until you reach the entrance to Wat Phra Si Sanphet. By bus, you can take a public van to Mueang Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District and rent a tuk-tuk for the whole day. However, if you can drive a motorcycle, There are motorcycle rental shops at the bus stop and in front of the train station. By train, you can take the train at Hua Lamphong Train Station. There are trains every day. Get off at Ayutthaya Train Station. Then you can rent a tuk-tuk to take you around or you can rent a motorcycle to tour on your own.
