Conquer the Ta Muen cruise peak, the gem of Ban Mung, Noen Maprang District, Phitsanulok Province We left Bangkok at 7 am and headed to Ban Mung, Noen Maprang District, Phitsanulok to conquer the Ta Muen cruise peak, testing our physical and mental health. We arrived in Phitsanulok around 1 pm. We stopped for lunch and prepared our supplies. Then we traveled to the check-in point. There will be officers waiting to register us before we climb the mountain. We can hire our children to carry our luggage up for us. Before we climb, there will be officers training and giving advice on the rules and regulations for climbing the mountain and the top of the mountain before we set off. We will receive safety equipment, helmets, and non-slip gloves and are ready to start our journey. We will meet the rangers and officers to lead the way and start walking towards the way up the mountain. We have to pass through a mango orchard for 500 meters and will find the entrance to the way up. The first way up will be a steep dirt and rocky path. There will be ropes to pull and climb up at intervals. We have to climb with a rope. The distance up to the top of the mountain is about 1.5 km. There are rest stops along the way. The last section to the top is a 90-degree steep staircase, 7 sections in total. When it gets close to the height, you might feel a bit scared. We reached the top of the mountain at around 4 pm. The ranger told us not to rush because if we got to the top early, the air would still be hot because it is a limestone mountain that absorbs heat. So we took the opportunity to walk along, stop and take pictures of the atmosphere along the way, and stop to sit under the shade of a tree before reaching the stretcher to wait for the sun to set and the wind to die down. Then we continued walking to the point where we would camp. We camped at the first stretcher on the way up. We walked up to capture the evening light on the first peak, which was about 50 meters away from the stretcher. After that, we came down to rest, dry ourselves, change clothes, and sit in a circle to eat grilled pork. We rested and chatted and laughed. Note: There is no water here to shower. Everyone must dry clean. The must-have and indispensable items are wet tissues and, if you look at the snake-eye cooling cloth, it is cool and refreshing after wiping. Luckily, we were on the waxing moon and the sky was clear, so we got to take some beautiful pictures with the Milky Way to share with you. For the first night here, we slept in a row on a stretcher on a hill, watching the stars and enjoying the breeze. We slept to gain strength to continue on to the top of No Raet mountain, which anyone who climbs up to it must really miss. We woke up at 5 am to prepare ourselves with helmets, non-slip gloves, drinking water, and other things we needed to use to conquer No Raet mountain. This morning, we set off for the next peak after where we were staying. This mountain is a limestone mountain with sharp edges along the way. Each rock is very hard and sharp, and some parts are steep. We climbed along the cliffs, went down holes, crevices, rocks, climbed, swung, and pulled. Every step we took required mindfulness and extreme caution. We could say that we had all the flavors of an adventure trekking trip. Throughout the route, we were accompanied by rangers and guides. We climbed all the way to the highest point and stopped to have instant noodles and coffee to regain our energy. At 9:30 am, it was time to return to our stretcher. The peak was here. The path that we thought was difficult was already difficult, so we had to take the same path that we had just tested our courage to get through with our little energy left.
