Visit the Buddhist art district of Phetchaburi

Later, Phra That Chim Phli Phra Setthi Nawakoti was built as a religious site that incorporated the high-class artwork of the craftsmen of Phetchaburi to create a beautiful building for worshipping Buddhism according to the faith of Buddhists. It can be called a Buddhist art site. 🛕Phra That Chim Phli is a square building with a base length of 18 meters on each side and a height from the base to the top of the chedi of 27 meters. The walls of the building are full of special characters. There are Buddha images in 4 directions. 🙏The architecture of Phra That Chim Phli is unique. It uses the form of the Chim Phli Yantra. There are 3 floors. 🙏The first floor enshrines 3 Buddha images: Phra Phuttha Setthi Ming Mongkhon, the principal Buddha image, which is a silver Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Setthi Nawakoti, and Phra Sivalee Maha Lap Romyen. The exterior is decorated with stucco sculptures of deities in the 4 directions. The doors and windows are carved in the shape of zodiac signs, the Himalayas, and the gods of each day of birth. The walls are depicted in the life story of the Buddha. 🛕 The 2nd floor, the outer wall is decorated with the Yantra Chim Pli characters, with 9-pointed brass umbrellas in 4 directions. The interior is carved teakwood with the Yantra Phokasap pattern. All 4 walls are decorated with 4 Buddhas. 🙏 The 3rd floor is a pavilion with a spire, enshrining the relics of the Buddha in a 5-pointed pedestal, lacquered and gilded.
