Peace of mind at... Wat Thamyan

Wat Thamyan is located in Ban Huai Nam Bo, Na Chaliang Subdistrict, Nong Phai District, Phetchabun Province. It is one of the beautiful temples in Phetchabun Province that is worth visiting to pay homage and take photos as souvenirs. The highlight is the uniquely structured white chapel. In front, there is a large Naga sculpture that sprays water, which is graceful and looks realistic. It is believed that if anyone lets the Naga spray water on them, it will bring good fortune to their life and money will flow in. It has become a point of interest that makes this temple well-known. People come to visit and make merit continuously. Wat Thamyan is a memorial to the grace of Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam, Wat Tha Sung (when he was Chao Khun Phra Suthamyanathera), who was a teacher who taught them about Dhamma all along. Therefore, the word “Dhammayan” was used as the name of the temple, which means that a place is like a vehicle (a boat) that takes you to reach the Dhamma. This temple is open as a place to practice Dhamma with spiritual value.
