Petra, Jordan

I have always wanted to visit the ancient city of Petra, and I have heard much about its beauty and grandeur. On my last trip to Jordan, I decided to visit the place. I arrived at the entrance of Siq at dawn and began walking through the rock canyon. The scene was astonishing with intricately carved red walls. She arrived at the plaza and was amazed by the great temple and the Triclinium Palace. I continued to visit the castle and other temples. I spent time hiking outdoors and taking photos. I had a traditional breakfast with a local family. Before leaving, I visited the majestic rocks of Al-Deir. I will return to explore this magical city further.
