Here's a brief travelogue of a 2-day trip to Penang

Of course, the first thing to do when going to Penang is to book an apartment/homestay with a sea view. Our family of four booked an apartment called 'Maritime Suites by Comfy'. Right below is a bar street and a rather large Starbucks. The street is lively at night, and it's very convenient to hail a car. Recommended. From the apartment, it's just over 2km to Love Lane. We started our walk from Love Lane, passing through Art Street, Little India, and other attractions. It's said that Little India is a test of one's stomach, and of course... we did not test our stomachs. Speaking of Penang's food, I think it's a matter of personal taste. The opinions of the 'old Cantonese' elders in the family and ours were not the same. We quickly walked to Clan Jetties, where each clan lives on a different jetty. Chew Jetty and Tan Jetty are more photogenic. It's said that Chew Jetty is the filming location for the movie 'Ice Kacang Puppy Love'. Since we arrived at the Clan Jetties around sunset, we rested at Tan Jetty, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the locals fish. Comfortable. On the second day, we still started off at a leisurely pace to Penang Hill. The funicular train to Penang Hill has different fast and slow lanes for locals and foreigners, with different prices. We traveled off-peak, so we got the cheapest ticket. After coming down the hill, we stopped by Kek Lok Si Temple. A suggested visiting time of one and a half hours is enough. In the evening, of course, we had to check out Penang's durians. We navigated to 118 Hotel, where there were three or four durian sellers nearby. We tried Black Thorn, Red Prawn, and Musang King. Personally, I found the bitter taste of Red Prawn quite delicious. On the third day, we took the ferry to leave George Town. You can use Alipay to buy ferry tickets, and it's very convenient as it only takes ten minutes to get to the other side. In summary, the cost of living in Penang is not high, Grab is convenient for taxis, communication is simple, it's a durian paradise, and you can experience the charm of the old Nanyang.
