I would see the PooPen restaurant standing out prominently at the end of Jomtien Beach. It has always been a crowded restaurant, going through thick and thin since 1984. It has been renovated and expanded continuously until now, and is considered the number one restaurant in Jomtien. PooPen is a large restaurant with a spacious parking lot and can comfortably seat over 1,000 people without being crowded. After this restaurant was able to survive COVID, it has become popular again because most of its customers are Thais, so it is not affected by foreign tourists. Even on weekdays, the restaurant is packed with people, which is not unusual. In the early days, the legendary PooPen restaurant received live crabs from fishermen and raised them in cages in the sea. However, it has now been built as a small aquarium to raise fresh shrimp, shellfish, crabs, and fish to serve its customers.
