It is also known as Pitukrueban Mosque. Highlights - The legend of the reason why the mosque could not be completed is that in the past, there was a Chinese man named Lim To Kiem who sailed to trade in Krue Se. Then he settled down in Krue Se. Lim To Kiem lived in Krue Se for a long time. He married the daughter of the King of Pattani and converted to Islam. Since Lim To Kiem was a skilled craftsman, he was assigned to build Krue Se Mosque. Lim To Kiem's ​​younger sister, Lim Ko Niao, who lived with her mother in China, saw that her mother was old and missed her son, so she volunteered to go and get her brother to return to China. However, when she arrived in Pattani, Lim To Kiem refused to return because the mosque was not finished yet. He wanted to stay until the mosque was finished. Lim Ko Niao was so sad that he hung himself from the mango tree in the Hima Phan forest and cursed that the mosque would not be completed. After that, every time Lim To Kiem was almost finished building the mosque, lightning would strike the roof of the mosque. This incident happened three times, preventing the completion of the Kru Se Mosque. #
