I'm walking along the route that says "Mona Lisa is this way," but no matter how far I go I never get there. The crowds gradually get more and more crowded, and I get closer to the Mona Lisa, or rather, when I think I'm getting closer, I can only see it from a very far distance. Even when I zoom in on it with my smartphone, it's so far away that I can't see it. I really regret not bringing opera glasses, binoculars, or even a telescope, but I thought I'd never have a chance to see the real thing, even from a distance, so I just snapped dozens of pictures with my smartphone. It seems that it would take a week to see most of the art at the Louvre, but since I only had a few hours, I quickly walked around looking at as many pieces as I could see, and on the way back my legs were shaking. Dress lightly and take as little luggage as possible, and since there are a lot of stairs, wear sneakers that you're comfortable in, and you should be able to see as much as you can until the very end, as long as your energy lasts.
