The Sinking House in Paris

Nearest metro stations: Anvers/ Abbesses/ Château Rouge (depending on which direction you start walking) Address: Parvis du Sacré-Cœur, 75018 Paris, France Famous for: the funny view of this house from behind the slope - it’s not actually sinking! Tourist spots nearby: Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre, Museum of Montmartre, Wall of Love Personally I find it more interesting than the Eiffel Tower as it’s more visually striking and playful. If you visit in person and stand in front of this house, you will find nothing special- it erects firm and square on the room without any sign of sinking. You will have to walk behind a small slope to look at the house again, then you can play with the angle and take photos of the house as if it was sinking half way, a quarter or almost completely. The area is also famous for coffee shops, bakeries and local pubs. After walking to the 3-4 tourist spots, a cup of well-brewed coffee is a nice way to wrap up the day tour. #celebratewithtrip #montmartre #sinkinghouse
