Paris' Montmartre: Finding Art and Romance at the Foot of the Sacre-Coeur

#SeptemberDestinations2025 Montmartre is the artistic heart of Paris. We walked along the winding paths up to the Sacre-Coeur, where the pure white basilica gleamed against the blue sky. From the steps in front of the basilica, we had a panoramic view of the entire Parisian cityscape. Many street performers performed there, creating a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. We then ventured into the nearby Place des Tertres, a gathering place for painters. The air was filled with the scent of paint. You can ask a painter to paint your portrait, or simply admire their captivating Parisian charm.
