Paris! Staying at a classic European hotel! Absolutely amazing

Ritz Paris I recently went on a trip to Paris and indulged in some serious luxury by staying at the legendary Ritz Paris. This hotel is located in Place Vendôme and has been open since 1898, almost 130 years! Many famous people have stayed here, like Coco Chanel and Ernest Hemingway. After my stay, I can say it truly lives up to its reputation! 🚪 As I dragged my suitcase through the hotel's entrance, I was immediately struck by the scene before me. The high-ceilinged lobby, adorned with exquisite murals and glittering crystal chandeliers, illuminated the entire space. The marble floor was so polished it gleamed, each piece seamlessly joined together. The doorman, impeccably dressed in uniform, warmly and politely took my luggage and led me to check in. The service was truly impeccable. 🏨 Luxurious details in every corner of the room 🛏 Stepping into the room, I was amazed by its spaciousness. The bed was perfectly made, the duvet and pillows incredibly soft, and there were complimentary chocolates from the hotel, so beautifully crafted I almost didn't want to eat them. A leather-bound book rested on the bedside table, detailing the hotel's fascinating history. The bathroom was even more stunning, with a huge bathtub and Ritz Paris custom toiletries that smelled elegant and luxurious. After a soak in the tub, I felt completely refreshed and pampered. 🍽 A culinary feast at the Ritz 🍷 Dining at the hotel restaurant was a true delight. The menu featured classic French dishes, each presented like a work of art. I ordered the Beef Wellington, cooked to perfection with a golden, crispy crust and tender, juicy meat inside. Paired with a special sauce, each bite was an explosion of flavor. The service was also outstanding, with the waitstaff meticulously explaining the ingredients and preparation of each dish, and attentively refilling water glasses and replacing cutlery throughout the meal. 🛍 Shopping paradise around the hotel: The charm of Place Vendôme 💍 After dinner, I strolled outside and realized the hotel was right next to Place Vendôme, a world-renowned luxury shopping destination. The square is surrounded by flagship stores of top brands like Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. I spent quite some time browsing in Cartier, trying on several rings, and the staff were incredibly patient and helpful. When I got tired of shopping, I sat on a bench in the square, watching the passersby and admiring the surrounding European architecture. It felt like the romance of Paris was concentrated right there. 📌 Tips for your stay Be sure to book in advance, especially during peak season, as the hotel is very popular and it's unlikely you'll find a room last minute. Afternoon tea at the hotel is very popular. If you'd like to experience it, it's best to call ahead and make a reservation, otherwise, you might not get a table. While the hotel service is excellent, it's customary to tip service staff. Having some small change on hand will be helpful.
