Hiking on the Panzhihua Park Trail

Panzhihua Park, located at the foot of Bingcao Gang Jingshi Mountain, currently has the Hero Monument, amusement project area, rare animal zoo area, and other scenic spots, making it a large public place that combines leisure and entertainment. A few years ago, Panzhihua constructed a national-level trail, and Panzhihua Park is the entrance to this trail. Entering from the main gate of the park, you can see the trail marker posts on the road, indicating 500 meters to the main gate of the park and 22 kilometers to the airport. It turns out that the rubber path underfoot is the national-level trail. Following the trail to the Ailanthus Pavilion, the road ahead allows one to overlook a corner of the city, although the view is somewhat limited. Climbing up to the Panhua Pavilion offers a panoramic view of the entire city, broadening the horizon and allowing one to appreciate the mountains, rivers, and old friends, and to take pride in the builders. Panzhihua Hero Monument commemorates the heroes of the Third Front Movement era. The inscriptions on the nearby stone steles are catchy, such as the doggerel by the great mathematician Hua Luogeng, which is as humorous as the one from his time at the Southwest Associated University, finding joy amidst hardship without losing optimism. The Panzhihua Park trail is roughly 4 kilometers in circumference, with an ascent of about 200 meters, all laid with rubber paving. It is also very enjoyable to take a walk after dinner if you live nearby. When visiting Panzhihua, it is highly recommended to take a walk and have a look at Panzhihua Park. This is the first park built for the citizens' leisure in this barren land by the heroic city. The chairlift (now changed to a box-type) cable car was once a popular sightseeing spot that even the provincial capital did not have, and it is worth reminiscing.
