[China] A stunning crimson carpet! Red Beach Scenic Area

The Red Beach Scenic Area, which spreads across the sea in the city of Panjin, Liaoning Province, northeastern China, is called Red Beach in English. It is a wetland that spreads across the mouth of the Liao River Delta. Its size is 100km2, the equivalent of 2000 Tokyo Domes, and its size is overwhelming. The true identity of this red is a yearly plant called matsuna, which turns bright red in autumn. In the scenic area, there were many people enjoying Panjin crab fishing. There was also a rice field art event here. This is a record from a long time ago, but it seems that it hasn't changed much even now. Speaking of red carpets, in Japan there is the glasswort of Lake Notoro in Hokkaido and the shichimenso of Higashiyoga in Saga.
