Landing on Pangkor Island

First time in Malaysia, I went to Pangkor Island. It was recommended to me because it was a beach close to KL. It's a very small fisherman's island, and you can experience the local atmosphere. We went on a weekday, so there weren't many tourists, and the beach was like a private beach. However, at night, the surrounding restaurants were closed, which was a bit disappointing. It seems that it can be quite lively in some places. I need to do some research beforehand. Although there were some problems with transportation, it was a very peaceful and interesting winter trip.
