Palermo Centrale: A Gateway to Sicily's Charm

During my trip to Sicily, I took a train from Palermo Centrale, the central station in Palermo, to a small village where my accommodation was located. The station was surprisingly clean, and while it wasn’t enormous, it beautifully blended old architecture with modern structures. Purchasing train tickets was easy, as the machines offered English options, and nowadays, you can also buy tickets through apps. Inside the station, there were cafes, a small supermarket, and fast-food outlets, making it convenient to grab a bite or shop for essentials before heading off.
