Wat Khao Wanchai Nawarat is a forest temple located on a small hill. The stone chapel with a wooden pattern has a four-sided roof and stairs in 3 directions. It uses processed sandstone with sedimentary lines similar to hardwood, light brown in color, similar to an ancient wooden house raised on stilts. And it is special because it is built in the middle of the water. It is divided into 3 floors. The lower floor is a pond to store water pumped from a pond at the foot of the mountain for use within the temple. The water is clear and blue-green. The 2nd floor is similar to the foundation of a Thai-style house. It is a quiet place for meditation, prayer, and religious practice.
