EP.2 Kashmir trip, what time will I become a tourist? 🇮🇳

EP.2 Kashmir Trip When will I become a tourist? 🇮🇳 Let's continue on the second day after getting a good rest. I was very impressed with the hotel, the bedroom was good with 10 degrees Celsius. And the view of the house next door that looked like it was not finished yet. Today's plan is to go to Pahalgam, a place called Mini Switzerland. 🌲🗻 When I saw the plan, I felt so happy that I had to get a good view for sure. The journey took about 2 hours. I have to admit that the view along the way was very good. There were flower fields, mountain views, apple orchards. But then the tourist feeling ended when we arrived at the event. When I got off the car, it felt like I was at a horse market because there was an option to ride a horse in, but if I walked, it would take about 2 hours without telling me what kind of path. 🚶🐎 The price was different for how many places to go. I wanted to go to only one place, the highlight, but the horse owner refused. Our local guide tried to help negotiate the price back and forth until it ended at 1,500 rupees per person to go to 4 places. It was quite expensive. When I got in, I immediately understood why I didn't give up at just one point. Because points 1-3 are just passing through, I had to go. I felt like I was in trouble, right? We're in the Arab world now, right? 😂 The first peak was that the horses were so dirty that I was confused about what was going on along the way to get there. When I started going in, oh my gosh, there were only rocks, cliffs, steep roads, holes, wet roads, and mud. Oh, at that time, I was like, I'll give up. 1500 rupees is so pitiful for the horses, but the horses are really good at remembering the way and stepping on the rocks very well. But the horses looked exhausted and some of them fell to their knees, both the horse and the person. Some of them even broke their hind legs just standing up. When we passed each point we chose, they stopped so that we could take a few short photos. But before we reached the highlight, we screamed until our mouths were dry. Just imagine the steep cliffs and potholes with almost 30-40 horses walking past each other. It was so entertaining. To be honest, the Mini Switzerland point wasn't that amazing when we arrived. The next peak was that the exit was mud that sucked your feet, and everyone was rushing to get out. Plus, I met a horse that was standing close to me. I was not tall enough to reach the horse's butt, so I got its tail swung at my face 😭 At that time, I was a mess and smelled like shit. I had to be calm and walk through the mud. My hands had to fight with other people to keep my balance. It was so tiring to get to the starting point!!! On the way back, the horse trainer asked for a small tip, but I refused. I was fighting, so I wanted to give this much. As soon as I got back to the hotel, I quickly washed my pants and shoes, otherwise the smell and stains would stick to my body for a long time. It was a real evening activity. I sat and scrubbed, wiped, and used a hair dryer. But in the evening, it was good that I got coconut ice cream on the side of the road and beer to comfort me that day. The question in my mind was the same as before: When will I become a tourist??? #KeepGoingxIndia #KashmirReview #Kashmir #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

Living in the south of India, my expedition to north already made me felt like I'm going to a different country. Like China, India also has wide variety of landscapes and so, the population thrives and overflows I believe. I took a flight to Kashmir, and hired a taxi to this place. As we decided to go to unexplored places, my athletic friend was of great help to get these places. We spent two days there in Kashmir valley. We made up the tent and was all well prepared with survival kit for two days, as temperature can drop really low there. The next day we had a nice milk tea (奶茶)at the very famous Dal lake, also we did some boating enjoying it's serene and calm beauty. The final day, we went to the Kashmiri bazaar (market) to taste some local food and for shopping maniac. It is definitely a go to place, if you are in India. #urbanexplorer #leaveyourmark #indiatravel #kashmir #himalayas #urbanexplorer
