Otaru Cherry Blossom Hunt: Finally Caught the Full Bloom!" 🌸

#cherryblossom25 Who could’ve imagined that I would be so lucky to witness the full bloom of cherry blossoms in Otaru? And what’s more, it happened on my birthday! 🎉 After years of chasing the perfect sakura moment, I finally succeeded! 🥳 I walked over 20,000 steps, took hundreds of photos (I barely had time to pick my favorites), and as a dedicated sakura chaser, I’m so excited to share this experience with all of you! Here’s the breakdown: 1. Tenjō-ji Temple – Absolutely breathtaking! No matter how I framed the shot, it was always stunning. However, there’s a possibility that the temple is associated with some historical war-related significance (a ranking related to the Sino-Japanese war). I couldn’t find much info online, but feel free to verify this if you’re interested. 2. Minami Otaru – By this point, the cherry blossoms started to fall, creating a beautiful sakura snowstorm! It was enchanting, and I couldn’t get enough of it. 🌸 3. Temiya Park – Most of the petals had already fallen here, and I have to say, I don't believe the reports online that said it was only 50% in bloom—there were already leaves! However, the view of the ocean added to the charm. It’s a bit off the beaten path, so you'll need to either walk or take a taxi to get there. 4. Tengu Mountain – A single tree in full bloom was still standing tall, and under the right lighting, it looked like the peak of the sakura season. A quiet little gem in the midst of all the beauty. After soaking it all in, I was fully content and hopped on the JR back to Sapporo. What an unforgettable day! ✨ #travel
