Highlights from my summer trip to Otaru✈️ ❶Beer pub along the Otaru Canal🍺(Otaru Beer Brewery Otaru Warehouse No.1) You can eat and drink inside, but there is also a terrace along the canal! The terrace is very pleasant in the summer, so I recommend it. People on the canal cruise passed by us every now and then, so we enjoyed a leisurely beer break in the afternoon while waving our hands😌 By the way, you can also observe the brewing process of beer in the building! 📍Location: 5-4 Minatomachi, Otaru, Hokkaido 047-0007 ❷Melon Soft Serve (Kaiya) Melon soft serve was sold at a shop called "Kaiya" near the ticket booth for the Otaru Canal Cruise 🍈You have to try this 🥹The thick melon and rich soft serve are irresistible 😩🩷 The shop also sells melon and offers delivery, so you can send it as a souvenir 🙂↕️ 📍Location: 5-3 Minatomachi, Otaru, Hokkaido 047-0007 ❸LeTAO Cheesecake (LeTAO Main Store | Otaru Sweets) There are lots of LeTAO shops in Otaru 🫶I found one while walking around and had a relaxing tea time. 📍Address: 7-16 Sakaimachi, Otaru, Hokkaido 047-0027 ❹Seafood bowl (Donburi Chaya Otaru Sakaimachi Street Branch) There are many seafood bowl restaurants, so I just pop in. I ordered the luxurious sea urchin and salmon roe bowl😌 📍Address: 3-24 Sakaimachi, Otaru, Hokkaido 047-0027 ❺Miso butter ramen (Hokkaido Ramen Dojo) And if you come to Hokkaido, this is a ramen you should try at least once!
