2 Nights and 3 Days in Oslo: Exploring the Nordic Capital

✈️ Journey Begins A brief stop in Oslo, the capital of Norway, before heading home. Although the actual stay was just over two days, I managed to visit all the major attractions in the city. Oslo is compact, and its tourist spots are conveniently clustered together. --- 🌊 Oslo Harbor & Nobel Peace Center Walking past the small hill park (Kontraskjæret), you’ll arrive at the harbor. Watching fresh fish being sold directly from boats was quite impressive. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded exclusively in Oslo! The Peace Center is located right in front of the harbor. 🏛 Oslo City Hall & National Theater The brick-colored City Hall and the over 120-year-old National Theater showcase the charm of old architecture, contrasting the futuristic image often associated with Scandinavia. 👑 Royal Palace & Guards There were female guards too! The changing of the guard ceremony takes place at 1:30 PM, but unfortunately, I missed it. Karl Johans Gate, the street connecting the Royal Palace and the Parliament, is lined with parks and restaurants.
