Open all night Friday. Photography is allowed inside the church, but the use of flash is prohibited. No tickets are required for entry. A very beautiful church. The Dutch Baroque-style Oslo Cathedral is located in the city center. To the east is the altar in front of the church, the bell tower with a copper dome, and a Renaissance-style spire. In addition, the church's bronze doors are of Neo-Gothic design and date back to the 19th century. The tower is equipped with the oldest church bell in Norway, which is still in normal operation today. Inside is a large painted ceiling mural painted by Norwegian artist Hugo Los Mohr. Colorful murals and drawings represent Christ from the beginning of his ministry to his final redemption. The beautiful organ is located in the attic above the church entrance and has a painted apostolic frame. The current body of the organ was built in 1997 for the church's 300th anniversary. It's really beautiful inside and worth visiting. When we visited, there was music playing in the church from time to time, and it was very atmospheric to listen to it live. Moreover, the indoor murals can really make people admire it for a long time, and the sound of the organ really makes people immersed in the church. I really love the architecture of European churches, both exterior and interior are so beautiful.
