Isshin-ji Temple is not your typical tourist destination but rather a place of deep cultural and spiritual significance. It is known for housing the ashes of faithful individuals, and the atmosphere reflects that—peaceful, calm, and full of reverence. Walking through the temple grounds, I felt a strong sense of tranquility, making it a refreshing escape from the bustling streets of the city. The architecture of the temple is truly impressive. The unique structure stands out with its modern yet traditional design elements. It’s a beautiful blend of history and contemporary aesthetics, which makes it different from other temples I’ve visited in Japan. While the temple may not be as crowded or famous as some other landmarks in Osaka, it holds its charm in the serenity it offers. It’s a wonderful place to pause, reflect, and take in the spiritual ambiance.

A small temple with peaceful atmosphere. There were lots of adorable cats around, making the visit even more special. The street leading to the temple is also beautiful—perfect for taking lovely photos. A hidden gem for cat lovers and anyone who enjoys quiet, scenic spots.

On our last day in Osaka we started the morning with a visit to the Lion Shrine. What a magical place! Without a doubt one of the coolest things I’ve seen in Japan. We had some peaceful time here but after a while it started to get busier. After taking a few nice photos, we wandered around the area a bit more.

A very beautiful, calm, and peaceful temple. I bought a ticket to visit the inside, and it's well worth it: the place is really well kept. The atmosphere is serene, far from the noise of the city. A great place to discover Japan's Buddhist history. A must-do if you're in Osaka!

Tallest observatory tower in Osaka. Came here at 8pm on a weekday, and there was no lineup but I missed the beautiful sunset scene. If you want to take advantage of both the twilight and night view, then time your visit. There is a bit of light effect while taking the elevator up to the 60F and that was interesting.

Beautiful night view with all lights making it so colorful. Very crowded with locals and tourists. Better allocate enough time for this area if you want to do something shopping and have meals here apart from just taking some nice pictures. Pretty much have everything here. The vibe is very touristy and if you enjoy being in the crowd, this is the perfect place. Become very crowded at night and it more lively during the night with all the light from the shoplots. Most of the shops except for restaurant/ food closed pretty early,some close even before 9 pm, so plan your time wisely.

Amazing place, you start off at the top floor and work your way down. Kaiyukan is one of Japan’s biggest and best aquariums. We were impressed by the layout of this aquarium - you take the escalators up to the top and then you slowly work your way down in a circular motion around the main central tank, ensuring that you don’t miss anything and that the flow of people is smooth and organized. The crowds were tolerable - lots of people but not in a chaotic way. As you work your way down, you see fish and other aquatic life from different areas of the world from playful otters to curious dolphins to energetic sea lions to laid back penguins and much more. The star of the show is the central tank with the gigantic and majestic whale sharks. One could spend hours admiring them, and some do. Allow at least 2 hours to see the aquarium, though 3 hours will allow more time to sit and admire the animals more, plus explore the gift shop at the end.

This restaurant is truly a huge internet sensation, especially for its fun and fancy decor, making it a favorite with kids. Today, we'll share the highlights and precautions, so you can enjoy the fun while avoiding pitfalls. First, let's talk about the good things: ✅ From the creative design to the decor, what kid can resist trying fishing and prawning in this cool restaurant? ✅ Plenty of fish, a high chance of catching, and a sense of accomplishment and excitement (if you can't catch anything, you can just scoop it up). ✅ You can make sashimi, boil it, or grill it, so you can enjoy multiple dishes with one fish. Plus, the atmosphere is great, so parents with alcohol tolerance can enjoy a drink. ✅ There's a grill on the table, so you can catch and grill your own fish. The experience was absolutely fantastic for the kids. ✅ The location is quite convenient, with one restaurant in Shinsaibashi and one in Tsutenkaku. A few things to keep in mind: ✅ The taste is average, and the prices aren't cheap. As a restaurant, the value is average, but it's fun. ✅ You have to pay for everything you catch. Last time I went, a mother left her child unattended, and after eating, she slipped away and caught a fish. #OverseasHotels Hotels within walking distance of Osaka's Dotonbori, starting at around ₩40,000 per person, must-see! ❤️ Located within a 10-minute walk of Namba Station and a 20-minute walk of Dotonbori, this hotel near Namba Station costs ₩80,000 per night for two people. During the off-season, rates were even available for ₩60,000 per night. Japanese hotels tend to have small rooms and don't offer twin beds, so I recommend this hotel to those who prefer separate beds. The Korean staff were also there, which made communication easy. Towels were changed daily, and umbrellas were available for rent. Namba Station and Dotonbori are within walking distance. It's also close to key tourist attractions, making it easy to plan your itinerary. 👋

9/10🌟 Kushikatsu Daruma Shinsekai A famous kushikatsu restaurant. The fried food with the sauce provided by the restaurant is very delicious. But eating too much makes me feel a bit greasy. I ordered some rice balls to eat with it. It goes very well together. 6/10🌟 Ramen Shitenno Dotonbori I randomly went in because I was very hungry. I ordered the spicy one but it was a bit too salty. So I only ate the noodles and pork. The spiciness and the karaage chicken rice set were delicious. 9/10🌟 Tako Hashi Dotonbori Very delicious. The dough is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The filling is tasty. The sauce is thick and sweet and salty. But I deducted points because my mouth was burning. 10/10🌟 Butter Beer USJ, Harry Potter The cream foam on top is sweet, fragrant and soft. It tastes like caramel mixed with butterscotch. The water is fizzy. Muggles like us can't miss it. 8/10🌟 Three Broomsticks USJ Pork Ribs Meal The ribs are not very soft, but they are marinated deliciously. The corn is a whole cob. It goes well with potatoes, but the chicken menu, the chicken is a bit dry as per the review. Want to go again. 10/10🌟 Nakamura Tokichi A matcha cafe with a full range of drinks and desserts, it seems that there is only seaweed matcha. The matcha ice cream is very delicious. 🌟 Four Seasons Hotel Osaka 📍Perfect Location During my trip to Osaka, Japan, I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel and was absolutely amazed! It's right in the heart of Osaka, surrounded by vibrant energy, just minutes away from Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori on foot. Shinsaibashi Street is packed with all kinds of shops, offering everything from food and drinks to entertainment. The night view of Dotonbori is breathtaking, with the riverside lights illuminating the entire area. Plus, transportation is super convenient with a subway station nearby, making it easy to get anywhere. 🛌Top-Notch Wellness Facilities The hotel's wellness facilities are fantastic! I especially loved the gym, which is fully equipped with treadmills, spin bikes, and various strength-training machines. I started each morning with a run, working up a sweat that kept me energized all day. The pool, though not huge, has excellent water quality and the perfect temperature. Once while swimming, a staff member even helped me adjust my technique—such a thoughtful touch. The biggest surprise was the hotel's spa. I tried their massage service, and the therapist's skills were incredibly professional. After the session, I felt completely relaxed, as if all my fatigue had melted away. 🛌Flawless Stay Experience From the moment I checked in, I was captivated by the hotel's ambiance. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, helping with my luggage and patiently explaining all the hotel's facilities. My room had an amazing view; opening the curtains revealed Osaka's glittering nightscape—absolutely stunning.
