Chomyoji Temple in Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture is a famous temple on the mountainside of Mt. Chomyojiyama, located on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa, and is one of the Thirty-Three Temples of the Western Provinces. Whether you walk or drive, it's a mountain path that makes you worry, "Is this really the right path...?", but once you get past that, the temple grounds are a mystical space that makes you feel solemn. 😌 My other recommendation is the view of Lake Biwa!
