This is a new landmark that only opened in 2020. Not many tourists know that here you can enjoy the footbath while looking at the scenery (no registration required, just take the elevator to the top floor). It is the best place in Odawara area where you can see the coastline from a distance.

About a 10-minute walk from JR Odawara Station. About 320 Somei Yoshino trees bloom against the backdrop of Odawara Castle's keep. There is also a children's amusement park and the NINJA Hall in the park, and it is a recommended place as a cherry blossom viewing spot in Kanagawa Prefecture that can be enjoyed with children and family. It is also popular for the romantic date.

小田原と熱海の間にある、根府川にある美術館。
見どころの一つは、相模湾の青い海を眺めることができるガラス張りの夏至光遥拝100メートルギャラリー。

窓越しに見える海は少し深い青で、地平線が美しかったです。
他の方がガラスの外の展望スペースにいる時は、その陰が窓に映り、趣深い景色でした🤍

逆に自分が展望スペースにいる時は、海とガラスに映る自分をセルフィーで撮ると素敵な写真になります📸

ギャラリー自体には、様々な海の景色が100メートルに渡り、複数展示されているので、そちらもゆっくりご覧いただけます😚

自然とアート、そして歴史が融合する素敵な美術館なので、ぜひ一度は行ってみてください〜

This art museum is located in Nebukawa, between Odawara and Atami.
One of the highlights is the glass-enclosed Summer Solstice Light Worship 100 Meter Gallery, from which you can view the blue waters of Sagami Bay.

The sea visible through the window was a deep blue, and the horizon was beautiful.
When other people are in the observation space outside the glass, their shadows are reflected in the window, which is a very interesting view 🤍

On the other hand, when you are in the observation space, you can take a selfie of yourself reflected in the glass and the sea to make a nice photo 📸

The gallery itself has multiple exhibits of various seascapes over 100 meters, so you can take your time to look at them as well 😚

It's a wonderful museum where nature, art, and history come together, so please go and visit it at least once ~

[Kanagawa🇯🇵] A weekend to enjoy the beautiful sea of ​​Sagami Bay

根府川駅からシャトルバスで10分くらいのところにある 江之浦測候所。
現代美術作家・杉本博司氏が設計し、2017年にオープンした場所です。

とにかく美しい美術館で、歴史と現代アート、建築が融合されたような場所です。

入り口では明月門がみなさんをお迎えしてくれます。
これは室町時代に鎌倉の明月院の正門として建てられたもので、この地に再建させられたようです。
自然との融合が素敵な門でした。

入り口を入ってすぐのところには、ガラス張りの待合室がありました。
待合室では、樹齢1000年を超える屋久杉の立派なテーブルがありました🪵

そして、海抜100メートルの場所に建てられた100メートルのギャラリー。
ガラス張りで海や周囲の景色が反射してガラスに映り、とても綺麗なギャラリーです🤍

アートはもちろん、建築としても見応えがあるので、ぜひ行ってみてください〜

【神奈川🇯🇵】日本の建築美を感じよう

Enoura Observatory is about a 10-minute shuttle bus ride from Nebukawa Station.
It was designed by contemporary artist Hiroshi Sugimoto and opened in 2017.

It's a beautiful museum, a place where history, contemporary art, and architecture blend together.

You'll be greeted by the Meigetsumon Gate at the entrance.
This was built as the main gate of Meigetsuin Temple in Kamakura during the Muromachi period, and was rebuilt here.
It was a lovely gate that blended in with nature.

Just inside the entrance was a glass-walled waiting room.
In the waiting room, there was a magnificent table made from a Yakusugi cedar tree that is over 1,000 years old 🪵

And there was a 100-meter gallery built 100 meters above sea level.
The glass walls reflect the ocean and surrounding scenery, making this a very beautiful gallery 🤍

It's worth a visit, not just for the art but also for the architecture.

[Kanagawa🇯🇵] Experience the beauty of Japanese architecture

小田原の江之浦にある食堂だん。
国道135号線沿いにある海の目の前にあるご飯屋さんです。

なんといってもおすすめのポイントが、大きな窓から眺める海景色。
昼間も夕方もそれぞれ違った美しい絶景を眺めながら、食事を楽しむことができます。

私は夕方に行ってみましたが、淡いピンクやオレンジに染まる空と青い海のコントラストが素敵すぎました！！

建物は古民家っぽい作りになっていて、玄関には暖簾がかけられています。

海鮮丼やそば定食など種類が豊富で、選ぶのが難しかったです、、、
なかでもおすすめは、地魚を使った江之浦丼だそう。

みなさんも訪れたら、海側の席を確保してくださいね〜

【神奈川🇯🇵】目の前に海が広がる食堂🍽️

Shokudo Dan is located in Enoura, Odawara.

This restaurant is located right in front of the sea along National Route 135.

The best thing about this restaurant is the view of the sea from the large windows.

You can enjoy your meal while looking at different beautiful views during the day and in the evening.

I went in the evening, and the contrast between the pale pink and orange sky and the blue sea was amazing!!

The building is built like an old Japanese house, and there is a noren curtain hanging at the entrance.

There is a wide variety of dishes, including seafood bowls and soba set meals, so it was difficult to choose...

The most recommended dish is the Enoura bowl, which uses local fish.

If you visit, make sure to get a seat by the sea.

[Kanagawa🇯🇵] A restaurant with the sea right in front of you🍽️

築100年と歴史ある可愛らしい根府川駅。
パステルカラーの駅舎で、海の青とマッチしたおしゃれな駅です。

JR東海道線の駅の一つで、無人駅で、崖の上にあります。
崖の上にあるので、海を上から眺めることができ、駅の後ろには地平線が広がっています🤍

特に春には濃いピンクの桜が広がり、とっても美しい景色を眺めることができます🌸

また、おすすめの時間帯は明け方。
元旦には初日の出を見に、駅まで来る人がいるようです。

私は夕暮れ時に行きましたが、海がピンクやオレンジに染まり、とても綺麗でした🌆

みなさんもこの可愛らしい駅に行ってみてください〜

【神奈川🇯🇵】海が見える崖の上にある駅

根府川

Nebukawa Station is a lovely station with a history of 100 years.
The station building is pastel-colored, and it is a stylish station that matches the blue of the sea.

It is one of the stations on the JR Tokaido Line, and is an unmanned station located on a cliff.
Because it is on a cliff, you can see the sea from above, and the horizon spreads out behind the station 🤍

Especially in spring, the deep pink cherry blossoms spread out, and you can see a very beautiful view 🌸

The recommended time to visit is also early in the morning.
It seems that people come to the station on New Year's Day to see the first sunrise.

I went there at dusk, and the sea was dyed pink and orange, and it was very beautiful 🌆

[Kanagawa🇯🇵] A station on a cliff with a view of the sea

前回紹介した、報徳二宮神社にあるきんじろうカフェの姉妹店、きんじろうCAFE&GRILL。
きんじろうカフェとはまた違った雰囲気で、とてもおしゃれな空間です。

外にはまず、チンチン電車があり、少し昔にタイムスリップしたかのよう。チンチン電車の中でもコーヒーを楽しんだりできるみたいです。

中にはカフェの手前にかわいいドライフラワー屋さんがありました。
家に飾って、おしゃれ空間にしてみたいと思いつつ、まだチャレンジしていない私🪻

そしてなんと言っても、地元の食材を使ったグリル料理。
野菜が新鮮でとてもおいしかったです。

【神奈川🇯🇵】週末はおしゃカフェぶらり旅

Kinjiro CAFE&GRILL is a sister store of Kinjiro Cafe at Hotoku Ninomiya Shrine, which I introduced last time.

It has a different atmosphere from Kinjiro Cafe, and is a very stylish space.

First of all, there is a tram outside, and it feels like you have traveled back in time. It seems that you can enjoy coffee even while riding the tram.

Inside, there was a cute dried flower shop in front of the cafe.
I have always wanted to decorate my home with dried flowers to create a stylish space, but I have not yet tried it 🪻

And above all, the grilled dishes made with local ingredients.
The vegetables were fresh and very delicious.

[Kanagawa🇯🇵] A stylish weekend cafe trip

報徳二宮神社の境内にあるきんじろうカフェ。
この神社は学問の神様と言われている二宮金次郎を祀っている神社で、そんな金次郎をコンセプトとしたカフェがあります。

カフェの前には金次郎像があったり、カフェでは可愛らしい金次郎グッズが売っています。

なんといてもカフェラテは金次郎のカフェアートが🤍
また、私はコロナの終わりかけの時に訪れたので、御守りを購入した時の袋のようなマクス袋をいただきました！

カフェにはテラス席があり、境内の自然を感じながら、静かで落ち着いたひとときを過ごすことができます。

私は学校帰りに訪れ、カフェラテを飲みながら読書を楽しみました📚☕️

Kinjiro Cafe is located in the grounds of Hotoku Ninomiya Shrine.
This shrine enshrines Ninomiya Kinjiro, who is said to be the god of learning, and there is a cafe with a Kinjiro concept.

There is a Kinjiro statue in front of the cafe, and the cafe sells cute Kinjiro goods.

The cafe latte has Kinjiro cafe art 🤍
I also visited towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, so I was given a mask bag like the one you get when you buy a charm!

The cafe has terrace seating, so you can spend a quiet and relaxing time while feeling the nature of the temple grounds.

ランチを外したタイミングで向かったのですが、階段まで長蛇の列が！結局30分ほど待ちました〜

午後は売り切れの海鮮丼もあったので、早めのランチで訪れるのがおすすめです🐟

施設の一階には、小田原のお土産を買えるエリアがあるので、ご飯もお買い物も同時に叶うのが嬉しいですよね〜

I had lunch at Totomaru Shokudo, Odawara Fishing Port 🍚

I went there outside of lunch time, but there was a long line all the way to the stairs! I ended up waiting about 30 minutes~

The seafood bowls were sold out in the afternoon, so I recommend visiting for an early lunch🐟

On the first floor of the facility, there is an area where you can buy souvenirs from Odawara, so it's nice to be able to eat and shop at the same time~

豊臣秀吉の来攻に備えて城下を囲む総延長9kmに及ぶ総構を完成させると最大規模になりました

現在の天守閣は1960年に小田原市政20周年の記念事業と再建されました
内部には甲冑・刀剣・絵図・古文書など、小田原の歴史を伝える資料や、武家文化の資料などが展示されています

その後、常盤木門、住吉橋、銅門が再建され、2009年に馬出門が再建されています

This castle was located in Odawara City during the Warring States period, and is famous as the residence of the Hojo clan, who ruled the Kanto region for about 100 years and five generations.

When the 9km-long structure surrounding the castle was completed in preparation for Toyotomi Hideyoshi's attack, it became the largest castle in the country.

The current castle tower was rebuilt in 1960 as a commemorative project for the 20th anniversary of Odawara City's administration.

Inside, armor, swords, drawings, ancient documents, and other materials that convey the history of Odawara, as well as materials on samurai culture, are on display.

The Tokiwagi Gate, Sumiyoshi Bridge, and Domon Gate were later rebuilt, and the Umade Gate was rebuilt in 2009.
