Leong Hee Seafood, Penang Island

Leong Hee is one of the best seafood restaurants in Paya Terubong. They serve delicious food at reasonable prices. We ordered the Nyonya steamed fish, cereal prawns, deep fried squid, signature pork ribs, braised homemade bean curd in abalone sauce, omelet and stir-fry kalian. Everything was tasty. Other popular items are Teochew-style steamed grouper, curry fish head, Indonesian curry prawns, claypot salted egg pork belly, mango salad, stewed taro with pork belly, Yuan Yang chicken, hotplate tofu, sambal kangkong, stir-fry royale chives with bean sprouts and more. They also have Chinese banquet dishes. If you are unsure what to order, you may ask the waiters for recommendations. They will suggest what is good and not the most expensive ones. The restaurant is spacious, always crowded with customers. Please consider early dinner to avoid the crowd.
