Worship and ask for blessings from the relics of the Lord Buddha at Pha Nam Yoi

Back to my parents' home in Kut Chum District, Yasothon Province, on the last day of Buddhist Lent, we organized a family trip near home. We stopped by to visit the grandeur of Wat Pha Nam Thip Thepprasit Wanaram. The locals in Isan call it "Wat Pha Nam Yoi". The way up to the temple is a forest park. Drive around the mountain to see the lush green nature. It is located at Ban Khok Klang, Tambon Pha Nam Yoi, Amphoe Nong Phok, Roi Et Province, only 30 kilometers away from my parents' home. It takes 20 minutes to drive to Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkol. It covers an area of ​​2,500 rai. It is home to Phra Thep Wisutthimongkol or Luang Pu Si Maha Wiro, who is a disciple of Phra Ajahn Man Phurithatto, the great master of the Vipassana sect. The white chedi is decorated with dazzling golden patterns. It is surrounded by small chedis in 8 directions. The golden spire is made of 60 kilograms of gold. Inside, there is also the Vipassana Meditation Museum of Luang Pu Si and 101 statues of guru monks. Today, I brought my parents and grandmother with my family. We intended to come to pay homage and ask for blessings. “The relics of the Lord Buddha” located on the top floor, you have to walk up a 5-story spiral staircase. I am glad that I was able to walk up and pay my respects slowly. The interior is beautiful, golden, and the air is cool even though it is very hot outside.
