Sala Kaew Ku, Nong Khai

Sala Kaew Ku, or the Deva Park of Faith, is located in Mueang District, Nong Khai Province, just 3 kilometers from the city center. This unique attraction has become a popular tourist attraction. This complex is filled with over 200 large, unusual reinforced concrete statues, each towering and imposing. These statues were created out of the faith and belief of Grandfather Boonlue Sureerat, or Grandfather Lue, that all religions can coexist. He intended the Deva Park, or Sala Kaew Ku, also known locally as Wat Khaek, to represent a place of liberation from all defilements.
