My first encounter with Lugu Lake was in the spring of last year. For a traveler who likes quietness, Lugu Lake seems to be an excellent place of extreme tranquility, which indirectly led to my fourth trip to Yunnan. I even declared to the outside world that Yunnan is my "happy hometown." - I spent a short night in Kunming. It was the first time I knew there was a plateau airport built specifically for Lugu Lake. There is only one flight from Kunming to Lugu Lake. It is not recommended to take a taxi to the Lugu Lake Scenic Area because there is a very cost-effective way - take the airport bus, which takes about an hour (in addition, you need to buy a ticket to enter Lugu Lake). This time I chose to stay in the homestay Yishan Haishi near Sanjia Village. After getting off the bus, the homestay also arranged a special driver to pick me up... I didn't expect that the first impression would be added points by the brother's warm smile. - My yearning for mountains and seas began last year. I always wanted to find an opportunity to experience such a beautiful homestay in person, so I finally found the time to come this year. The moment I walked into the lobby, I was deeply attracted by the healing scenery in front of me that looked like an oil painting 🖼️ The row of reeds at the door, plus the Lugu Lake 🌊 and Goddess Peak that come into view through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, I feel that this homestay has unbelievable beauty in its rest and dining areas before I even get to the room 😭. In addition, the scenery in the room is enough for me to give it a thumbs up. Although it is not a large floor-to-ceiling window, it feels as if you are looking at an oil painting in front of you. It is amazing that such scenery is actually the "off-season" of Lugu Lake... In the afternoon, the room also includes an afternoon tea set. After the manager arranged the table for me, he asked me if I felt any difference in this set? I didn't notice it, so I could only say it was beautiful 😭 Then he said, look Goddess Peak and Lugu Lake are on your plate...Wow! ! They actually made the landmark scenery of Lugu Lake into a delicious cake... I have to say that their coffee☕️ is also the best I have tasted in a homestay. I rested on the lawn in the afternoon, and returned to the room at night to prepare for another moment full of ritual. The "fireplace" 🪵 design in the room was something I didn't expect, and it was really burned with firewood 🔥. It was still quite cold here at night, and there was also floor heating in the room, so the whole room seemed very warm, but not dry. Such quiet time is too suitable for doing some thinking or daydreaming. At this moment, it can be said that I was really enjoying the quiet time of Lugu Lake. - If Lugu Lake itself is a painting, then the mountains and seas are the warmest harbor of this painting... When I left the next day, the store also gave me a souvenir - Yunnan small-grain coffee. Thank you for meeting me and look forward to meeting you again. This is the best meaning of travel.
