Dongqian Lake is in Yinzhou district of Ningbo. it’s fairly easy to get to, buses run from the main city area down to the lake throughout the day, Didi can be taken from various points of Ningbo, or Subway line 4 reaches Dongqian Lake but not in the central part of the lake. A Didi from Jiangbei Wanda takes around 1 hour and costs about 90RMB (traffic dependant). Once at the lake, take a walk down the scenic path towards the waterfall, this path currently has a lot of construction happening around it, which does ruin some photos. There is also a temple to visit down in the scenic area. After this, head into the main village of Dongqian Lake to see the old Ningbo life and visit 1 of the 2 coffee shops just on the lake front.
