This is the hotel to stay at in Ningbo. Comfortable and affordable!

Hotel recommendation for Ningbo|||This was my first time staying at the InterContinental Ningbo. From a distance, the building looks quite ordinary and not like a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel. But when I got to the hotel lobby, it felt like a proper hotel. The hotel is decorated in warm tones from the inside out. There is a doorman at the entrance to help with directions and opening the door. 1⃣️Parking. If you are driving, you can park your car on the first basement floor and take the elevator to the lobby to check in. Parking is free. The hotel front desk will give you a parking voucher QR code, which you can take a photo of and save. Scan the code before you leave. ❌Disadvantage ①: The signs in the hotel underground parking lot are not obvious. You need to pass the hotel lobby and go downhill to the bend before you can see the 🅿️ sign (why is there no sign at the hotel lobby entrance??) 2️⃣Check-in. The front desk staff was very gentle and upgraded our room for free. The check-out time was also extended to 2 pm. Each person gets a room card. A deposit is required, which will be refunded if you don't consume any items in the room. 3⃣️Room. The room is quite large and new, with a good height, not oppressive. The facilities are complete, and there is no odor. There is also an air purifier in the room. I particularly like the bathroom design. The toilet and bathroom are separate. One side has a bathtub 🛁 and shower 🚿. The bathtub has a phone/tablet stand, soap, and bath salts. You can take a bath, apply a face mask, and watch TV at the same time. The other side is the toilet, which has a smart toilet, very clean (hands-free). In the middle are two sinks, so two people can brush their teeth and wash their faces together. The bathroom and room are separated by a sliding door, so you don't have to turn off the bathroom light! There is a tote bag in the cabinet at the entrance, which is of good quality and quite large (you can take it home). ❌Disadvantage ②: The sink drains very slowly. Fortunately, there is no backflow odor. ❌Disadvantage ③: The retractable makeup mirror in the bathroom is too high. I can't see myself even on tiptoes. ❌Disadvantage ④: There is no full-length mirror in the room. ❌Disadvantage ⑤: Due to the room location, the view outside the window is not good. 4⃣️Other facilities. The hotel has a gym on the 3rd floor (open 24 hours), a swimming pool (open from 6 am to 10 pm), and an executive lounge on the 25th floor. There are facilities for children, such as a children's playground and a children's pool. 5⃣️There is a restaurant in the hotel, and you can also order food by phone in the room. If you order takeout, you need to pick it up downstairs. There are two insulated boxes at the hotel entrance, and the delivery person will put the food in the box. Overall, the stay was quite good. If you want to visit Ningbo, you can try this hotel. The hotel is not far from Hankyu, Tianyi Square, Tianyi Pavilion, Dongqian Lake, and other places.
