Moon Lake Park, known as Ningbo's "Little West Lake"

Moon Lake is regarded as the small "West Lake" in the hearts of Ningbo residents, a 5A scenic spot hidden deep within the bustling city. The park has an elegant style and a tranquil environment, and its understated elegance is best appreciated slowly, like savoring tea. Moon Lake has long been praised as "half city of historical relics, half city of lake". It was first excavated during the Tang Dynasty's Zhenguan period, and the ten isles of Moon Lake were constructed during the Song and Yuan Dynasties. During the Southern Song Dynasty's Shaoxing period, numerous pavilions, towers, and seasonal flowers and trees were extensively built, creating the scenic beauty of the ten isles on Moon Lake. I had visited once before and toured the entire place. This time, I brought the octogenarian elders and chose a walking route from Jiang's Residence to Fangcao Isle to Tianyi Pavilion, touring Moon Lake and visiting Tianyi Pavilion without being too tiring.
