Nikkō Tōshogū

#cherryblossom2024 Nikkō Tōshogū The most decorated Shinto shrine that is also a National Treasure in Japan. There are several shrines in the area but Toshogu is the most popular one. It can be accessed locally from Tokyo using the Tobu Nikko line. You just need to go there to see how beautiful it is. Give yourself at meast 1.5 hrs to visit Toshogu calmly. You can buy the ticket from the station or directly from the temple. Same price only for 1300¥ as of today. You can also walk from the station to the shrine for around 40 mins. It is worth the walk since you will see a bit of Nikko's city with a mountainous background.
