🎨🇫🇷 Nice: Unveiling a World of Masterpiece Museums!

#summervacay Before visiting Nice, my thoughts were all about its stunning coastline and delicious oysters. I had no idea it was such a treasure trove of art! Driving eastward along the French Riviera, I was pleasantly surprised to discover just how many top-tier artists have dedicated museums here. I had the chance to visit both the Matisse Museum and the Chagall Museum. They're conveniently located very close to each other, so I highly recommend planning to visit both on the same day. The quality of both collections is exceptionally high! As these are two of my absolute favorite artists, and it's quite rare to see independent museums dedicated to each, it was incredibly rewarding. It seems the beauty of Southern France truly captivated everyone, including these past masters, drawing them here to spend significant time and, in turn, leaving behind these magnificent works for us to enjoy.
