Ponagar Temple

Ponagar Temple is a Cham temple tower built before 781 AD, located in the ancient province of Kauthara, near Nha Trang, Vietnam. It was constructed to worship Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the land, who is associated with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and known in Vietnamese as Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu. This ancient castle blends Asian cultures, exuding an old and mystical charm. It is situated on a hill near the sea, quite large and tall. Visitors can tour the site for an entrance fee of 10,000 VND per person.
