Warm Welcome at Norton Hall

From the moment we arrived， the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Dave， the porter， is truly a gem. His dedication to assisting guests like us with heavy luggage is outstanding， making us think he really enjoys his job. The standard room wasn't large but was well-presented and immaculately clean. We met Pearl from housekeeping， a very sweet lady who helped us with directions to Glasgow. (Bus 900， a 20-minute walk from the hotel’s entrance， £10 for a return ticket， a 40-minute comfortable journey). Pearl is always willing to help， even guiding us to a shortcut to the bus stop. We stayed for 3 nights and tried the breakfast menu， which offered a great selection. Natalie， one of the breakfast staff， was incredibly friendly and attentive， quickly refilling our drinks and clearing our dishes. She showed interest in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Although we stayed for 4 days， we only used the spa facilities once， as we were busy exploring Edinburgh. The spa and gym are in a separate building with spacious reception and locker rooms， plush towels， and a lounge with comfortable sofas， books， magazines， and a coffee and drinks bar. The steam room， sauna， jacuzzi， and pool are modern and very clean. Next time we visit， hopefully in December for the Christmas market， we plan to spend more time relaxing there. The car park is massive， and the grounds are well-tended. The gardener must be proud of their hard work in maintaining the impressive landscape. For those not interested in city exploration or spa treatments， Norton Hall has extensive forest grounds perfect for walking enthusiasts. In short， Norton Hall Hotel excels in every way. I eagerly await our next visit.
