The Metropolitan Museum of Art

#newyorktrip The Metropolitan Museum of Art is my all-time favorite museum I have ever been to, and each time I go, I see and learn and experience more and more. The size of the museum is significant, and it can be days and multiple trips to walk through and see all there is to offer. It's a beautiful building and the architecture of it is something to marvel at. I spent a lot of time exploring the Islamic world section at my most recent visit, and it was breathtaking to see all the beautiful and ornate peices and hand woven rugs that are over 500 years old. Also, I love seeing all the old weapons and armour, it's fascinating to see such ornate and detailed swords and guns.
