Enjoying a delicious gelato from Anita’s on the Upper East Side to beat the heat. Sooo good and a new family favorite! Absolutely fantastic gelato, super friendly and excellent service, wonderful vibe, and so incredibly wallet friendly! I can’t say enough good things about this place. First of all, the gelato was delicious. We got a small of the Belgian Chocolate and the Pistachio, and it’s really easily some of the best gelato I’ve ever had. We paired it with a cappuccino on a rainy day, and I have to say it really was a 10/10 cappuccino from the milk foam to the taste. The servings were all very generous and I almost forgot I was paying for food in New York! The staff were so incredibly friendly and communicative, and the vibe was both fun and cozy. During our time here there was a rush of people, and I can only guess that it must be a neighborhood favorite. If I lived closer I’d want to go every weekend! They also have really cute to-go freezer bags.
