Shanghai Moon’s New York

📍New York, USA ⏰2017.07 I went to the US for a summer vacation. The US wasn't a country I was really interested in since I was young, but I worked at a fashion company and ~ got to experience a lot of culture~? I think I gradually became interested. Since my best friend happened to be in the US (even though she lived far away from New York..) I left for the US alone! I was supposed to meet my friend in Canada, so for the first few days, I went around all over New York to places I wanted to go. I unpacked at my sister's friend's empty house in the East Side, and took the subway to Times Square. Even I didn't have a big romantic idea about the US, but seeing Times Square, which I had only seen in movies, made my heart ache and ㅎㅎ It was strangely touching.. I saw two musicals in New York, Kinky Boots and The Lion King. I won a lottery ticket for Kinky Boots on Broadway and was excited to see it.. It was funㅋㅋ As I watched it.. That night was the night I had to take a bus to Canada!! I was so surprised that I ran like crazy as soon as the first part ended and stopped by home and went to catch the bus.. so I couldn't see the second part. The Lion King is a musical I saw as soon as I returned to New York with a friend I met in Canada. I had wanted to see it so badly since Korea, so I made a reservation a few months ago and went. On the day we saw the Lion King, my friend and I couldn't find a parking spot, so we were delayed the first time. We were late the second time because we had to leave our bags at a nearby hotel after hearing the shocking news that the small carriers we were carrying were prohibited.. We were about 20 minutes late.. But.. they say that the first 20 minutes are 80% of the Lion King musical. Yes. I didn't see any of the main ones.. We're idiots haha But the latter part was so good too, right??🥲 Next time I go to New York. I definitely want to see The Lion King again. I want to see Sleep No More. My friend recommended it to me back then, but I didn't see it because I overwhelmingly wanted to see The Lion King.
