#New Taipei Attractions Tamsui, formerly known as "Huwei", has as many as 35 ancient monuments and historical buildings. This time we visited several famous places: 📍Former Residence of the Commissioner of Taxation of Tamsui Customs of the Qing Dynasty (Little White House): Located in the Puting area of ​​Tamsui, it is nicknamed "Little White House" by the locals because of its white walls. It was the official residence of the Commissioner of Taxation of Tamsui Customs of the Qing Dynasty, so it is also known as "Puting Western-style Building". 📍Oxford College: Also known as "Li Xue Tang Da Shu Yuan", it was a Western-style modern school founded by Canadian missionary Mackay. It was rated as a Class II historic site in 1985 and is now a city-designated historic site in New Taipei City. 📍Fort Santo Domingo in Tamsui: In 1644, the Dutch rebuilt the city near the original site of Santo Domingo and named it "Fort Anthony".
