Fisherman's Wharf, Tamsui, Taiwan

Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is a multifunctional leisure fishing port recently developed by the New Taipei City Government. It has a beautiful floating dock and a spacious port park. There is also a boat-shaped landscape bridge across the port for pedestrians to enjoy the view. There is also a 330-meter-long wooden boardwalk on the pier. Leaning against the fence and admiring the view of the Tamsui River estuary in the wind is a leisurely experience. Fisherman's Wharf in the evening is one of the best places to enjoy the sunset. Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf (English: Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf), legally known as Tamsui Second Fishing Port, is a fishing port with tourist attractions located in the western end of Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is located on the east bank of the Tamsui River estuary. It was an important early fishing port in the north and is adjacent to Shalun Beach. Under the "Fishing Port Function Diversification" plan of the Taipei County Government (now the New Taipei City Government) and the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, the first phase of the project was officially completed and opened to the public in March 2001.
