The National Museum of Capodimonte, a name that may sound complex, is actually the Naples Museum of Art

The location is at the top of Capodimonte hill, originally the royal palace of the Kings of Naples, and it houses collections from various Neapolitan rulers (Spanish, French) over the centuries. The museum is fascinating, with nearly 100 halls filled with many masterpieces. Even a quick tour takes half a day. It can be compared to the Uffizi Gallery. Since it's located on a hill, access is not very convenient, which means fewer visitors and a very pleasant visiting experience. Moreover, the scenery is magnificent, overlooking the sea.
