Every spring, the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village in Nantou transforms into a dazzling cherry blossom paradise. From the entrance of the park, cherry trees line both sides like a welcoming procession, enthusiastically spreading a sea of pink and white blooms. Unlike the natural charm of the grasslands, this place feels more like a meticulously designed spring celebration, with clusters of flowers layered upon each other. It’s reminiscent of the cherry blossom paths in Kyoto, Japan, yet infused with the unique essence of Taiwan's indigenous culture, leaving visitors in awe. I made a special trip to ride the park's cable car to the heights, where I could take in the waves of cherry blossoms blooming across the valley. Beyond the visual impact, I was deeply moved by the harmonious blend of human artistry and natural beauty.
