So, my one-day tour in Nanjing was set to visit these two must-see spots. 🍁🍂 Wutong Avenue · A Flowing Green Poem As soon as I stepped onto Lingyuan Road, I was stunned by the scene before me—century-old wutong trees with intertwined branches weaving an endless green tunnel in the sky. Sunlight filtered through the dense leaves, casting dancing light spots on the asphalt road, like nature playing a piano of light and shadow. Young people cycling by rang their crisp bells, startling a few birds into flight; newlyweds taking wedding photos under the shade captured this romance into eternity. This Wutong Gallery, carrying history and stories, is not only a city emblem of Nanjing but also turns everyone passing through into part of the painting. 🕊🕊 Music Stage · The Open-Air Theater Where White Doves Dance The moment I entered the Music Stage, I was captivated by these "aerial dancers." Hundreds and thousands of white doves sometimes skimmed past the ancient Greek-style colonnade, sometimes landed precisely in visitors' palms. The most spectacular moment was when the flock took flight together—wings flapping like the sound of tides, drawing beautiful white whirlpools above the curved stands. Children laughed chasing the doves, couples shared the same bag of dove feed; at this moment, the Music Stage was no longer just a building but a vibrant and healing natural theater. From the tranquility of the wutong trees to the liveliness of the white doves, this day I collected the two most touching sides of Nanjing.
