Nanjing! My third stay! Really like this affordable hotel

Hotel Highlights ✅Perfect Location: Located beside Xuanwu Lake, directly connected to Exit 2 of Xuanwu Gate subway station, offering convenient transportation. Only 2 stops to Nanjing Railway Station and 3 stops to Xinjiekou. Whether you want to visit Xuanwu Lake Park, climb the Ming City Wall, taste delicious food at Qiaotou Ramen, or enjoy quiet moments at Yunji Bookstore, everything is easily accessible. 🛌Quality Amenities: Westin's bedding has always been well-renowned for its comfort. The main bathroom is spacious with double sinks, and the bathtub is Toto's classic model, ensuring quality. Although there's no smart toilet, the overall bathing experience is still pleasant. 🧹Clean Rooms: Room facilities are well-maintained. Though the overall color scheme and design have a vintage feel that might seem old-fashioned, it creates a unique atmosphere of grandeur. The cleanliness is excellent, making for a comfortable stay. ✅Outstanding Service: The concierge service is very attentive, actively helping with luggage and greeting guests warmly each time they pass. When seeing guests checking maps, they proactively offer to introduce local attractions. Front desk staff are polite and accommodating, trying their best to fulfill reasonable requests like arranging rooms facing Xuanwu Lake and carefully explaining the executive lounge location and operating hours. The executive lounge staff are enthusiastic, recommending cocktails and following up on guest feedback. Gym staff acknowledge guests with a nod whenever eye contact is made, making guests feel respected. Areas for Improvement 🏘️Room Views: For a perfect Xuanwu Lake view, you must book an executive suite. Other room types mostly offer side lake views, though higher floors provide better experiences. 🍱Average Dining: The lounge afternoon tea is underwhelming. The executive lounge's food variety and quality need improvement, and breakfast is mediocre. Practical Information 💰Average Cost: Prices are under 1,000 yuan on regular days, offering good value for money. 🏊‍♂️Facilities: The gym and pool are open to the public, located at some distance from the hotel, but they're not crowded and have a nice environment. Overall, despite some shortcomings, The Westin Nanjing is highly recommended for its prime location, attentive service, and comfortable stay experience, especially suitable for travelers who want to enjoy convenient city access and lake views in the downtown area.
